ASTROLOGY - INTRODUCTION


Astrology is such a vast subject and has several aspects. To understand them one must need to go into deep detail in every aspect, otherwise the output or prediction can be wrong.

There are five basic subjects in the astrology learning:

1. Siddhant

2. Hora

3. Samhita

4. Prashan Shastra

5. Shakun Shastra

1. Siddhant

In this we learns rules of mathematics, time calculation, Moon and other planet's position, speed and other movements.


2. Hora

The meaning of HORA is 24 Hours or a Day. In this subject we study and understand all the twelve houses, planets and their aspects in the house and other houses, Stars or Nakshatras, etc. In the beginning astrologers used to predict on the base of Planets but later on it developed more.


3. Samhita

This is also a very important subject in Indian astrology. This subject "SAM+Hita" is very much like its name. It covers all the activities of human welfare and an astrologer decides the best time for to start the activities like :- building houses, entering in the house, boring new wells, pond making, yagyas, and all the muharatas etc.


4. Prashan Shastra

It is also an important branch in the Indian Astrology. With the help of this shastra one can ask question without his Janamkundali (Horoscope). In this astrologer gives importance to the time of the question. He makes horoscope of the time of question. It is also very authentic. This subject has three main parts like :- prashanaksher siddhanta, prashanalagana siddhanta and swaragyaan siddhanta. 

5. Shakun Shastra

This is the fifth subject of Astrology. In this we study and practice of the birds and animals languages, nature and activities. With the help of these sounds and activities we predict about rain, drought, earthquake, etc.
